This is an onsite position in Tampa, FL. The candidate must either live in Tampa or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is available.

The Role:
As Sales Manager, you'll be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and business development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team, setting sales goals, tracking performance, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. You will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales representatives, working closely with HR on all related matters, including performance reviews and time management.
- Business Development and Customer Relationship Management: Develop and implement sales plans, identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, analyze customer and vendor trends, and represent the company at industry events. You will also work closely with grower liaisons to ensure effective communication and product procurement.
- Profitability and Operations: Manage sales budgets, analyze profitability, contribute to strategic planning, conduct business reviews with customers, and collaborate with the accounting department on financial matters. You will also oversee day-to-day operations for product sales and delivery.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Research and communicate market trends to the sales team, develop pricing and promotional strategies, and identify marketing opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of fresh produce sales experience with a proven track record in business development.
- 4+ years of management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- High level of integrity, work ethic, and a passion for customer service.
- Bachelor's degree (minimum).
