The Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales operations, fostering strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets by proactively addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Growth:
- Proactively identify new business opportunities, expand distribution, and boost revenue.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Regularly communicate to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Negotiate pricing and sales agreements with customers to maximize profitability.
- Proactively anticipate requirements and needs.

Customer Support:
- Promptly address risks and opportunities, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjustment as needed.

Brand Advocacy:
- Communicate Offshoot Brands’ brand messaging and product benefits to customers.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and sales processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven record of success in achieving sales targets in the retail food + beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape, including route to market and customer buying behaviors.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with frequent customer interaction.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Up to 50% of travel is required for sales calls, company events, industry events and market visits.
Qualification:
- 2-5 years of experience in sales within fresh/perishable CPG, retail, wholesale, or foodservice.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business decision making.
- Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability, to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.
- An ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
