We are currently looking for talented professionals to join our team in the following position of Commercial Business Developer.
Job Summary:
Drive the growth and expansion of Camposol's commercial operations on the U.S. West Coast, strategically boosting sales, enhancing market presence, and unlocking new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management & Development: Oversee and drive sales for assigned crops on the U.S. West Coast, ensuring growth and market penetration.
- Retail Account Growth: Expand the company’s retail footprint by acquiring new key accounts on the U.S. West Coast.
- Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, shaping data-driven strategies.
- Client Relationship & Negotiation: Foster strong, ongoing relationships with clients, negotiating volumes and pricing to optimize fruit placement as per agreements.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to the integrated management system guidelines related to safety, quality, authenticity, food legality, workplace health and safety, environmental standards, secure trade, and ethical practices.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership roles within commercial areas of companies in
- the agricultural sector and over 10 years of experience in commercial areas.
- Proven knowledge of the U.S. West Coast market, including industry trends and sector
- dynamics.
Skills:
- Proficiency in English, verbal and writing
- MS Office at intermediate level
