Job Description:
We are a provider of a wide array of fresh fruits located in New York City, New York.
We are in growth mode and seeking a FOB Salesperson with 5+ years of produce brokerage experience with an established book of business and/or customer following.
Job Summary:
- Strong relationships within the Retail, Wholesale, and Foodservice markets.
- Understanding of market conditions and competitor’s products and pricing to make adjustments based on the changing market conditions.
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with supply partners.
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation for assigned orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction at all times.
Job Qualifications:
- 5 years produce experience with brokerage dealing with freight fob and delivered pricing handling.
- Knowledge of various supply chain touchpoints.
- Strong customer service orientation and reliable work ethic.
- Excellent and effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
