Job Description: 

As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the operations and ensure that shipping and inventory are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse inventory levels of produce and packaging daily
  • Operate a forklift, maintain records, track inventory items and complete documents for shipping and receiving
  • Responsible for reporting all unsafe conditions, damage to product, equipment and facility and other duties as assigned
  • Recommend measures to improve production and repacking methods, quality of work, and working conditions to increase efficiencies
  • Ensuring that the highest level of quality is maintained in the facility at all times
  • Loading trucks correctly
  • Neatly and accurately load trailers with pallets of product

Requirements:

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended periods of time
  • Night shift hours during the strawberry season (December-March)
  • Day shift hours when off season
  • Skills in using computer-based systems, programs and reports
  • Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Must be able to work safely with good safety habits
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
