Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with a demonstrated ability to lead the Department and acquire new customers to join our team.  Ivan Big Tree is an established grower, importer, and repacker in Mission, Texas. We’re growing and this is an opportunity to shape your future and that of our business and grower partners in Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Mexico.  This is not a remote position as you’ll be leading the team at our Mission facility.

With an exciting product line that includes guava, papaya, pineapple, avocados, and more, we’re looking for a candidate who possesses a deep knowledge of the retail market and a proven track record in sales and business development. Your mission will be to acquire new retail accounts that enhance profitability and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to attract new retail customers.
  • Research and identify potential customers while staying ahead of industry trends in the fresh produce market.
  • Work collaboratively with operations and procurement to boost both our production volume and that of our procured repack items.
  • Manage inventories, and pricing, and create sales plans for the near term.
  • Engage in strategic planning and management meetings alongside our consultants, who are leading our growth initiatives.
  • Inspire and guide our existing sales team by defining roles that elevate performance and drive success.
  • Offer actionable recommendations for innovative strategies that promote business and sales growth.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the retail industry, including key players and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and accelerating net revenue growth.
  • Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Well versed in FAMOUS
