SHOP MAINTENANCE MANAGER
 
LOCATION:   Bakersfield, CA

What you will need:

  • 2 years’ experience supervising / managing an automotive, truck, heavy equipment, or agricultural equipment maintenance shop operation.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of Ag tractor, farm equipment repair, vehicle maintenance and/or heavy equipment repairs.
  • Knowledge of various systems (electrical, hydraulic, a/c, engine, emissions, pm maintenance, etc.).
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work additional hours, including some Saturdays.
  • Ability to travel to regional farm locations.
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Pass pre-placement drug/ alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

  • High school diploma or technical certifications.
  • Knowledge of supervision principles and techniques to effectively direct and motivate staff.
  • Knowledge and experience in the safe, effective use of fabrication and maintenance shop machinery, equipment, and tools.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
  • High personal integrity and ethical standards.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic and changing operational environment.
  • Self-motivated personality.

Total Rewards: $90,000 / YEAR        

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
