- 5 to 7 years’ experience in a produce chain channel/category management & ability to network/build contacts within industry.
- Extensive produce industry contacts.
- Develop/identify market opportunities where pull through opportunities can be executed within the produce chain to leverage Nunhems’ vegetable seed genetics
- Establish/maintain long term relationships within the produce industry that will provide partnership and collaborative opportunities between Nunhems and major value chain participants.
- Monitor/report produce industry/consumption trends and serve as company liaison to the produce industry; assure Nunhems crop teams are aware of market opportunities.
- Degree in marketing/business development required.
- Successful, advanced project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and not authority.
- Language: fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
