Job Opportunity:
We are currently searching for a Sales Executive, Tomato Operations in Corcoran, CA.
Tomato production and processing is a relatively new endeavor for the company, having spent the majority of its years in California focusing on cotton and grain production. J.G. Boswell operates two tomato processing factories in the valley and is among the top tomato paste producers in the U.S. and the world.
The Sales Executive is responsible for maintaining and increasing a client base, as well as maximizing gross margins. The main focus is on the sales and marketing of tomato paste to leading food manufacturers in the United States and globally, and developing long-term relationships with those customers. The ideal candidate will successfully promote the company with an emphasis on growing the customer base, while bringing a fresh perspective to the sales team. Direct experience working with high quality food product(s) and sales contracts is critical.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of sales experience within a perishable industry is critical.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance that meets or exceeds state requirements.
- Ability to travel frequently both domestically and internationally.
