Job Description:
Datepac, LLC is a vertically-integrated fresh Medjool date packer/shipper based in Yuma, AZ. Datepac packs Medjool dates under the Bard Valley brand. The owners of Datepac are all members of the Bard Valley Medjool Date Growers Association. Datepac has two state-of-the art date processing plants in Yuma. Bard Valley Medjool dates are shipped to customers in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia. Datepac is well-known for packing a high quality product on a year-round basis for multiple channels.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Identify, manage, and execute the plants process for improvement.

Will manage production staff to attain production and quality goals.

Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues.

Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules.

Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, and cost and customer service.

Maintaining a safe work environment and strictly enforcing safety requirements.

Directly supervising and training hourly production employees.

Meeting customer's expectations; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Planning assigning and directing work.

Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

Complying with all company policies as well as local, state and federal laws/regulations.
