Position Summary:
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the development of key foodservice accounts. This role is ideal for an experienced produce broker and sales professional with strong industry relationships and a track record of growing business through strategic customer development. You’ll be responsible for building customer partnerships, executing on sales strategies, and helping expand our footprint in the foodservice channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business: Identify and secure new foodservice accounts, focusing on high-value opportunities and long-term partnerships.
- Create Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue goals and support company growth objectives.
- Build Client Relationships: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers in foodservice organizations.
- Negotiate & Close Deals: Lead and participate in pricing negotiations, ensuring deals are profitable and aligned with customer needs.
- Supplier Coordination: Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure product availability, quality, and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and customer preferences to help inform business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fresh produce sales, preferably in a broker or account management role.
- Established network within the foodservice industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
