We’re hiring a full-time, year-round, National Sales Manager in our Hart, MI office. As a National Sales Manager with Todd Greiner Farms, you’ll have the opportunity to influence our industry while growing our business.  This position will lead the Sales department in generating an annual revenue between 10-15 million in sales with growth expectations.  This person needs to be a self-starter who can perform independently without needing constant oversight and who can excel at identifying new business opportunities, while managing and growing existing accounts. This position is year-round and will focus their attention coast to coast.

A successful candidate will be a natural relationship builder, polished professional, and be able to demonstrate previous sales success.  The position requires accounting and financial experience to provide solid bids, excels at working independently to meet deadlines and can troubleshoot challenges when they arise. Some Travel will be needed to meet with customers and attend industry events. This management position reports directly to the owners.

The typical schedule would be in the office Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.  During peak harvest/shipping season those hours can vary with some longer hours during that time with additional hours on some Saturdays. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales, Account Management, and Marketing.
  • Monitor, schedule, track logistics for all products inbound and outbound.
  • Provide outstanding customer service that may entail evening phone calls on occasion.
  • Maintains current industry standard knowledge and looks for upcoming changes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Agriculture preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems, be organized, and multi-task.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, Email Communication, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written & oral).
  • Work and communicate in a personable and professional manner with high integrity and a    dedicated work ethic.
  • Takes pride in doing a good job and doing the right thing.
  • Ability to work independently at times and contribute to a small team.
  • Work efficiently within a fast-paced & time-sensitive environment.
