We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Fresh Produce FOB Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling fresh produce to domestic and international buyers, focusing on FOB terms. You will build and maintain relationships with key customers, negotiate pricing, and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products, all while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Management:
- Identify and prospect new customers in the fresh produce market (local and international).
- Develop strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product knowledge.
- Provide expert advice on product availability, quality, and shipping options.

Pricing & Negotiation:
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients based on market conditions, product quality, and FOB (Free on Board) pricing structure.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, including FOB terms, costs, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
- Ensure that all pricing and contracts comply with company policies and market standards.

Order Management:
- Oversee the order processing cycle, from initial inquiry to order fulfillment, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are accurate.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery according to FOB terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock availability to clients.
- Track and manage any customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction through resolution.

Market Research & Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about market trends, seasonal variations, and competitor pricing in the fresh produce industry.
- Update customers on the latest product offerings and promotional opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence to advise the company on demand, pricing trends, and potential growth areas.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and other key metrics in CRM software or other relevant systems.
- Report on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and ensure alignment with company goals and targets.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field is preferred but not required.

Experience:
- 2-5 years’ experience in sales, particularly in fresh produce, food distribution, or agricultural products, is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Squash, Eggplant, Cucumbers, Bell Peppers, and Carrots is a plus.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; knowledge of logistics and trade documentation is a plus.
