Job Description:
Rivermaid Trading Company is a well-established sales and marketing company of fresh produce. We are currently seeking a Wal-Mart & Sam’s Club Sales Representative to provide daily management of our Walmart and Sam’s Club accounts. This requires close collaboration with Sales and Marketing, Shipping, and the Walmart consolidation center in Southern California.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Retrieve orders from the Walmart & Sam’s Club EDI program
- Input orders into the Rivermaid order system (Famous)
- Schedule transportation from Rivermaid packing houses to Walmart consolidation center and distribution centers via the Walmart Transportation Management System and with our carriers
- Act as intermediary with our warehouse, sales team, transportation carriers and Walmart/Sam’s Club to follow-up on problem orders (unshipped, rejected or late deliveries)
- Complete Walmart and Sam’s Club bid sheets, cost key worksheets, new item request forms and opportunity buy worksheets
- Track sales to date versus awarded business for the week/month/season
- Work with production planning to manage Walmart and Sam’s Club inventory levels and project inventory needs for future weeks
Education:
- Prior experience with Walmart & Sam’s Club
- Bachelor’s degree preferred not required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Famous and Face Forward
Skills:
- Understanding of, and experience with Walmart Retail Link
- Outstanding organization and attention to detail
- Comprehension of Microsoft excel
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and problem solve
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple urgent tasks
- A positive attitude with the ability to take initiative on processes outside of the defined job scope; including motivation to research and provide proactive solutions to management
- Ability to stay focused in the midst of an active and changing environment, and stay calm under pressure
- Professionalism on the phone and in the office setting
