Physical Requirements:
This position works in an office environment with occasional travel to the other divisions for meetings. Weekend or evening hours may be required at times. Must be able to communicate, give, and receive information through listening and conversing, and observe with your own eyes.
This position requires the ability to enter and read information on the computer and the Internet. Occasional lifting, moving, and bending are required while working within the office storage and filing areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a sales strategy for onion products to expand market reach and increase revenue.
- Actively sell onions to food service providers, wholesalers, distributors and grocery chains.
- Identify new markets and opportunities for onion sales by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
- Coordinate with the production and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of onion orders.
- Monitor onion inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Attend trade shows, agricultural expos, and industry events to promote Harris Fresh onions and build brand awareness.
- Provide feedback to management about customer preferences and market tends to guide production planning.
- Works closely with the Food Safety team to assure that all food safety policies are strictly adhered to. In addition, verifies that customer’s food safety requirements are satisfied.
- Performs accounting duties such as, but not limited to, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Guarantees all inventory is reconciled by working closely with production, monitoring physical inventory, as well as collaborating with the accounting team for verification.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Computer literate with demonstrated ability in Famous, Excel, Word, Outlook, iTrade and various other platforms.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in Business Administration or 10 years of agricultural sales experience.
