Job Description:
Opportunity is knocking!! FreshPoint Central Cal is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an open position as a Produce Sales Specialist to cover the Sacramento Area. The position will consist of maintaining existing customer base in addition to growing new customers/markets by demonstrating strong sales and customer service expertise, excellent communication and proven follow through. Qualified candidates must have proven track record with successful territory growth and sustained progress with on-boarding of new business! Must have reliable transportation with proof of insurance (coverage requirements apply), basic computer and typing skills (Word, Excel & AS400 preferred) and the proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and close the deal!

Proven ability to demonstrate success using suggestive selling techniques.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment while handling multiple tasks & professional relationships with ease and efficacy.

Ability to perform duties while standing and walking for periods of time.

Must possess basic knowledge of produce, dairy/grocery products & culinary industry.

A minimum of twelve (12) months previous sales (or culinary) experience strongly preferred.

No DUI or serious driving offenses – clean MVR/ three (3) year driving history.

Must own and be willing to use reliable transportation with personal vehicle insurance coverage limits of at least $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 in your name. Defensive driving course will be required upon hire.

Knowledge of the Sacramento and surrounding areas.
