We provide produce category management services including procurement, national distribution, information services and food safety assurance to foodservice clients across North America. We are seeking to hire a Claims Settlement Coordinator, who will assist the Buying team with day to day order confirmations in an accounting and administrative function.

This role will be based in our Salinas, CA office. We are unfortunately unable to offer VISA sponsorship for this role.

What you'll be doing with us:

  • Assisting the Buying team with day-to-day order confirmations
  • Ensuring all order confirmations are accurate and priced correctly
  • Putting the order confirmations in the attachments and shipping the files accordingly
  • Uploading and creating claim tickets when products arrive with issues
  • Complete Troubleshoot/claims reports and a detailed list of all claims tickets
  • Making sure files are marked correctly for claims
  • Keep a detailed list of all claims reports for the Buyer(s) you'll assist
  • Enter claims into the system and follow-up on addressing, resolving and closing out all claims in a timely manner

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of accounting experience preferred
  • Excel experience required
  • High attention to detail
  • Good follow-through and organizational skills
