Job Description:
Our client is seeking a best-in-class Chief Executive Officer for its North American grower-shipper-processor operation.
This $300MM+ business is known across the globe for its market and technological leadership. With all their success to date, the opportunities remain plentiful.
This role requires a CEO who will lead a highly respected and long-tenured executive team in a strong values-based culture. Most importantly, the new leader will have values consistent with our client’s expectations of remaining steadfast in their pursuit of excellence and always doing the right thing. Compliance, ethics, and sustainability are more than buzz words with this organization – the new leader will not just talk-the-talk. They must also walk-the-walk.
The CEO will ensure the company remains steadfast in its pursuit of operational excellence, next-gen technology and production stability, to keep customers happy and margins growing. They will have full responsibility for the company’s P&L, reporting to a board of directors currently made up of representatives from the international investment company and industry experts. Given the international component of our client, the new CEO will need to have the presentation, communication and collaboration skills to work with the board and leadership team of the international corporate owner.
In addition to a strong operational background, the CEO’s skills and experience must be commensurate to running a business of this size and complexity, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain. The CEO has both the autonomy to run the business and the support of a large corporation. This is a truly special opportunity to lead one of the preeminent produce organizations in North America.
