We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team in Plant City, Florida.

Under the direction of the Director of Accounting & Finance, this position will be responsible for the accounts receivable department performing both routine and non-routine accounting and financial reporting functions for Always Fresh Farms LLC and other related entities.

Duties:

  • Supervise, train, evaluate and motivate accounts receivable team on job performance
  • Conducting credit checks
  • Ensuring customer payments are processed accurately and timely
  • Monitoring invoicing procedures
  • Update the Credit and Collections report weekly
  • Responsible for updating pricing adjustments from PAS
  • Maintaining and updating customer records
  • Analyzing customer accounts, determining credit limits, and reviewing customer financials
  • Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional departments including sales, operations, logistics, shipping and receiving
  • Ensuring compliance with company guidelines and policies
  • Oversee and manage accounts receivable and collections for logistics and operations entities
  • Ability to work proactively, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience within the accounting field
  • Must have experience with Itrade and various other customer-specific portals
  • Must have experience with submitting claim via the various portals
  • Famous ERP a Plus
  • Must have familiarity with Blue Book rating
  • Prefer knowledge on PACA Rules & Regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to work efficiently and with accuracy under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime, nights and weekends if needed
  • Must be able to read and write in English
