We are looking for a true "Hands On" Production Manager!

Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience in repacking and fresh cut production environment to include production management/supervisory roles.
- Extensive knowledge of process controls, product flow, quality assurance protocols and equipment optimization.
- Strong process improvement background.
- Excellent oral communication and math skills.
- Spanish and English fluency is preferred.
- Developing, monitoring and adjusting key indicators: Yields, PP/Man Hours, Labor Per Pound and Overall Cost Per Items
- Knowledge of product costing, a plus
- Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing, a plus
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversees the operation of the processing/production department.
- Ensures adherence to all company standards regarding product quality and food safety practices working with the Quality Assurance department.
- Manages all Production personnel, to include training, development, and performance management of all supervisory and hourly employees.
- Working with Human Resources to develop and maintain staffing levels required to support planned production.
- Identifies opportunities for enhanced cost reduction, yield optimization, operational safety, and quality improvements.
- Maintains a visible presence on the plant floor to monitor operations and provide guidance.
