Terminal Produce is where you can find hundreds of different tropical produce, as well as fruits and vegetables from all around the world. Whether it be wholesale or retail, we pride ourselves in providing high quality produce at competitive rates.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is a key contributor to the overall success of the marketing team.
Role and Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across New York.
Produce Expertise
- Focus on apples but will sell a full line of produce.
- Market & Product knowledge
- Education customers on product quality, seasonal availability and pricing
Reporting & Insights
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Manage social media accounts and website content
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful campaign execution
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Experience in produce industry minimum 5 years
- Demonstrated success in sales with a focus on retail businesses
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
Preferred Skills
- Experience with social media management and content creation
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices
- Bilingual Spanish & English
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Salary: Base salary $1200/week + commission above base sales of 1%
