The Sales Associate will build lasting client relationships, promote new products, and ensure client satisfaction. Expertise in produce, particularly asparagus and herbs, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a client base.
- Schedule and conduct sales calls.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Manage and resolve client conflicts.
- Support and promote company programs.
- Collaborate with the sales team and staff.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze market conditions, trends, and pricing.
- Conduct proactive customer follow-up calls.
- Track and report customer spending.
- Meet sales and retention goals.
- Travel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in produce sales.
- Fluent in English; bilingual preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Suite and social media savvy.
- Understanding of market trends and pricing.
- Experience in A/R management is a plus.
- Ability to handle perishable products with urgency.
- Excellent communication and professionalism.
- Proven sales and account management success.
- In-depth produce industry knowledge.
