We’re seeking a Sales Account Manager to help us sell the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on.
Responsibilities:

Maintain working relationships with existing and new clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.

Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service and product categories offered.

Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations.

Travel to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and engage in industry events to build a network of contacts.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with all departments to expedite and resolve all aspects of sales, including shipping, pricing, accounting/billing, and marketing needs, in a timely manner.

Work effectively under pressure, remain calm in challenging situations, and make sound decisions to resolve issues.

Provide seasonal updates to customers on specific commodities to support customers in determining optimal promotional opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years in sales within the produce industry

Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities

Knowledge of Famous and Excel

Comprehensive understanding of the principles and methods for promoting and selling products and services, including sales techniques and customer relationship management
