Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner Manager to join our team.
The Production Planner Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production planning, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules to meet organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural production, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.
- Collaborate with farm managers and other stakeholders to forecast crop yields, plan planting schedules, and coordinate harvesting activities.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the production process to ensure products meet market requirements.
- Prepare reports and forecasts related to production planning and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in agricultural production planning or a similar role, preferably in large-scale farming operations.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, and farm operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in agricultural software and ERP systems for production planning and data analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
