Director of Food Service, Washington Division

Our company is a well-established leader in the fresh produce industry, known for delivering high-quality fresh products with a robust supply chain. We are expanding our market reach and seeking a hands-on Sales Director to grow and take our food service business to the next level.

The Role:

As Director of Food Service, you won’t just be overseeing the team—you’ll be in the office and the field, actively engaging with sales professionals, strategizing with leadership, and ensuring the team is motivated and performing at a high level.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoys working directly with their team to aggressively cultivate and develop new business, drive revenue, build customer relationships, and create a results-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an active, hands-on leader, engaging directly with the sales team daily.
  • Recruit and train additional sales professionals for your team.
  • Establish and implement sales processes using our CRM platform to improve efficiency and track progress.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that drive long-term partnerships.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to the sales team to enhance performance.
  • Drive sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to ensure continued growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Assist with key account management and support major negotiations when needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A sales leader who enjoys working directly with the team, rather than managing from afar.
  • 5+ years of experience in direct sales to food service establishments.
  • A vast knowledge of the fresh produce industry.
  • Experience in driving sales growth in a fast-paced, competitive industry.
  • Passionate about mentoring and developing talent.
  • Skilled in customer relationship management and strategic sales execution.
  • Data-driven with the ability to adjust sales strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Able to foster collaboration between sales, supply chain, and marketing teams.
