The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering strong, long-lasting client relationships and managing our existing program customers. This position involves the daily coordination of all logistical operations, utilizing exceptional people skills and a passion for motivating teams to achieve outstanding customer results.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Secure competitive rates and arrange timely truck freight for delivered orders.
- Provide support to carriers in resolving any logistical issues that may arise.
- Monitor scheduled deliveries and truck availability to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain daily communication with the sales team and carriers to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate transfer orders between coolers to streamline operations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Expected Outcomes:
- Collaborate with the sales, logistics, and carriers to ensure successful delivery of all orders.
- Develop a reliable network of carrier clients while optimizing competitive rates.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of logistics experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Famous Software is a plus.
Key Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Language Skills:
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; Spanish proficiency is desirable.
