Job Description:
The Watsonville Produce Inc., Replenishment Coordinator, forecasts and helps manage our on-site and off-site inventory needs. Proactively communicates orders and changes to branches of the product supply chain to make sure inventory needs are managed timely and effectively.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment tasks under the direction of supervisor .
- Store/Vendor Calls for inventory needs on-site and off-site.
- Updates daily inventory logs.
- Provide operations with adequate supplies and ensure supplies are properly stocked consistently
- Create relationships and learn how to interact with different team members for effective communication.
- In this position you will be encouraged to essentially be a sponge and soak up as much information as possible to gain an understanding of the inventory needs for our many business entities.
- Assist with other duties as assigned and /or any other tasks as assigned by leadership.
SKILL / QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have a strong work ethic. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with other departments as needed to help increase communication channels
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail.
