Santa Maria Seeds is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse while also providing support to our sales team. You will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including weekly inventory counts, shipping, and receiving, warehouse maintenance and deliveries as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and a strong understanding of inventory control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Maintenance and organization of warehouse and equipment.
- Monitor and update inventory germination samples.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly inventory control and logistics.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and warehouse management practices.
- Ability to operate a forklift; certification is a plus.
- Capability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.A self starter and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
