- Incorporate and manage irrigation, nutrient, and pest management programs for vegetable crops
- Coordinate with ranch managers to ensure they execute the farm plan
- Walk fields daily and make recommendations
- Assure implementation of soil tillage and crop management programs to maximize yields
- Enforce all safety and food safety protocols
- Assure accurate planting and crop history reports are maintained
- Coordinate final irrigations and sprays with harvest supervisors
- Coordinate with greenhouse to ensure transplants are timely and accurate
- Assist the Farm Manager with special projects as needed
- 2-3 years of agricultural production experience
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingual
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi task
- Ability and willingness to work long hours and weekends
- Team-oriented
- Knowledge of organics a plus
