With D’Vine Foods located in the heart of a fertile fruit and vegetable growing area, we
specialize in making many items such as jams, jellies, ciders, juices, pickles, relishes and other products. It has also created another market for local farmers' over-produced fruits and vegetables and given them the opportunity to add value and shelf life to their products.
Therefore, D'Vine Foods has created an entirely new wholesale opportunity for farmers. Consumers can now buy local grown products on a year round basis.
History
Our family business has been in existence for over seventy years with the third generation in ownership now. We manufacture items that keep us in business year around and year after year such as the Taylor Waterstove®, Taylor Tobacco Equipment, Taylor Storage Buildings and various other custom items. We are very diversified and will be here to serve you. That is not only a commitment; that is a passion we have.
The Taylor Family continues to diversify with agri-tourism, growing grapes & selling wine. “When we opened Lu Mil Vineyard we looked for someone to make our jams, jellies and pasteurized juice from our own grapes that
operated under FDA guidelines, “Taylor says, “but there was no such local company. Several would private label products, but no one would take our fruit, process it, and put our private label on it. We want to sell quality products that we know are handled in a safe manner”.
Lu Mil Vineyard, the sister company to D'Vine Foods, began processing some of their own homegrown fruit in a small way. When the demand for their own products increased and the fact that other farmers wanted the same service, they soon realized that there was a need for a processor who would take local grown fruits and vegetables and contract package them for the farmer with a custom private label. Therefore, D’Vine Foods was created.
