We're searching for a dynamic and results-driven National Retail Account Manager to spearhead the growth and management of national retail accounts. In this role, you’ll work closely with the sales team to cultivate strategic relationships, drive sales, and ensure their clients receive exceptional service. What You’ll Do
Manage Client Accounts:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients and build strong customer relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s needs, preferences, and business objectives.

Drive Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.

Develop and Maintain Strategic Partnerships:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that align with their goals.

Conduct Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings.
  • Utilize market insights to advise clients and tailor sales strategies accordingly.

Sales Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports on sales performance and account status.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance to adjust strategies as needed.

Prepare and Deliver Presentations:

  • Create compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase offerings to customers.

Negotiate Contracts and Agreements:

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to meet both company and customer requirements.
  • Ensure contract compliance and work to resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with internal departments to meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate with other teams to address and resolve customer concerns effectively.

Provide Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as an advocate for the customer within the company, communicating their needs and feedback.

Prepare and Analyze Sales Reports:

  • Generate and analyze sales reports, KPIs, and other metrics to track account progress and performance.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on account status and sales performance.

Travel as Needed:

  • Travel to client sites for face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and relationship building as required.

Who You Are and What You Bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for data analysis
  • Detail-oriented multitasker with an eye for efficiency
  • 8+ years of experience in sales or national account management
  • Ability to travel and work after hours when needed
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A proactive communicator who works well with others to achieve goals
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable, with an eye for improvement
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and planning ahead to avoid potential issues
