Join a premier, multi-generational wholesale distributor developing a nation-wide import sales arm. We were founded on a simple but powerful set of beliefs: that a new generation of produce talent is entering the industry and that a combination of hard work, deep market knowledge and honesty is a winning formula for growing produce sales.

When you join our team, you are joining a group of individuals who are all-in on creating the next big company in import produce. We understand intimately the challenges and opportunities this industry holds, as well as the frustrations and rewards.

As a Wholesale Produce Salesperson, you will be the driving force behind our growth. This role is for hunters with deep networks and knowledge in specific product categories. We are not looking for produce generalists – we are seeking experts around whom we can leverage our supply network, balance sheet and management team to build sustainable import sales programs. This job is for those sales leaders who may consider launching their own business, but don’t want to go it alone or shoulder all of the risk.

You will be expected to bring a deep set of preexisting relationships and strong, immediate sales channels to the role. You will be expected to be an expert either in our key commodities (Citrus, Mangos, Limes, Dragon Fruit) or to bring proven expertise in other product categories that you believe you can sell.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will be focused on high-volume wholesale sales to those regions serviced by East Coast ports (essentially the eastern half of the country).
  • Immediate Sales Channels: Bring a preexisting book of business / accounts with a focus on wholesale, but bonus points for retail connections.

  • Account Management: Maintain high sales closing ratios while managing price lists, negotiating commodity programs, and capitalizing on shifting market conditions.

  • Customer Excellence: Resolve concerns by investigating problems and developing solutions that promote a positive organizational image.

  • Operational Integration: Track customer orders accurately and work alongside the transportation department to manage service levels and exceed expectations.

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies and forecasts to fill your pipeline with qualified leads via phone and in-person prospecting.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a "hunter" mentality and a passion for the perishable goods industry.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of produce/perishable product sales or brokerage experience, including new business development.

  • Network: An established book of business in clear commodity categories and a strong reputation is required.

Compensation & Benefits

We reward the expertise and network you bring to the table with a package designed for high achievers:
  • Competitive Base Salary + Commission (Based on experience)

  • Unlimited Earning Potential

  • Comprehensive Medical Coverage

  • Full Benefits Package
