This position is responsible for installing, monitoring, diagnosing and performing all repairs and maintenance on customer owned equipment in the field.
The candidate must be skilled with network protocols, internet applications, remote software applications, and mechanical and electrical tasks.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility to travel overnight on short notice, work with minimal supervision, interact with customers, and complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. The territory is primarily Ventura County with occasional travel throughout California.
- High School diploma required and related work experience
- Avid interest in advanced agricultural or environmental monitoring and related control equipment
- Strong aptitude and excitement level around wireless technology.
- Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism
