Southern Specialties was founded in 1990 by Robert Colescott, President and CEO of the company. Our mission was to provide the finest restaurants and hotels in the nation with the best quality specialty produce. After years of success as a grower and supplier to the foodservice industry, we expanded our product line to include a variety of offerings for the retail sector.
Our integrated supply chain enables Southern Specialties to offer added value for our customers and consumers, from the ground up. Retailers, private label customers and foodservice distributors enjoy the benefits of working with a company that has the capacity to grow, process, pack and warehouse in state of the art environments.
Our distribution and logistics companies streamline transportation from our Florida, Texas and California facilities. Over the past two decades our family of companies has evolved into a dynamic supply chain, and this efficiency allows us to generate savings to the farm and value to our customers.
