New Sprout Organic Farms has a unique story with roots as a small family farm in the mountains of Western North Carolina founded by Alan, Jill & son Andrew Rose in 2011. After a few years of growing and harvesting from May to October, we recognized the need for a year-round supply and our Network Grower Program was born. In 2015, Bridget Kennedy was brought on to develop the program, and now functions as Director of Sales and Grower Relations. Over that time, we have successfully developed a solid base of 10+ growers that rely on us to sell the majority of their organic produce, as New Sprout Organic Farms branded product. It allows our growers to stay focused in the field, while we efficiently manage the fast-paced demands of the retail organic produce world of sales, marketing, compliance, and logistics. We believe we have a model that serves the needs of both our growers and customers. Each of us focused on our individual strengths to deliver great results as a team. In 2021, we celebrated our 10-year anniversary as a company and enjoy our presence in the market alongside other large brands.

With farm partners across the Southeast, our aim is to get fresh local and regional vegetables to their destination in a timely fashion. Farming close to where the produce will be delivered saves valuable energy, reduces pollution and provides a fresher, healthier product for our customers.
When consumers see the New Sprout label, they can be certain the organic produce they are holding was proudly grown in the Southeast. Further, the produce was grown in a sustainable manner by small to mid-sized independent growers.
