Job Description:

Location: Minneapolis, MN, local candidates ONLY!

Schedule: Monday through Friday 4am until finished (Will work 8 to 10 hours)

Salary: Up to $75K with $5k annual bonus potential

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform routine quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement and perform quality control procedures to minimize defects, reduce variability, and optimize production processes.
  • Coordinate with Commodity Managers and Quality & Inventory Specialists to address quality concerns, arrange product return, and manage defective item replacement or repair processes.
  • Analyze and report on quality control metrics, identify trends, and propose action plans for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline quality management processes and implement best practice procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality control processes and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards pertaining to quality control management.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in USDA certified environment preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control, perishable produce environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues, evaluate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Must be authorized to work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for the US

 Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and utilize ladders and other warehouse related equipment
  • Ability to stand, move, and bend for entire shift.
  • Ability to reach overhead.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for full shifts.
