Job description
We are seeking someone who already has relationships with broadline distributors, retail chains, wholesalers, or large food distribution buyers and wants the ability to grow their accounts with strong supply and competitive pricing.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing broadliner and retail accounts
- Sell fresh fruits and vegetables to distribution companies and retail chains
- Develop new wholesale relationships
- Work with suppliers to source and price product
- Monitor market conditions and margins
Requirements
- Existing relationships with broad liners, retail buyers, and/or wholesalers
- Experience in wholesale produce sales
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated and deal oriented
- Experience using Produce Pro software preferred
Compensation
- 60K salary + high commission on gross profit
- Strong earning potential for producers
