Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective operation. The production Lead oversees the company’s production activities and monitor employees within the production department. Also, develop ideas and strategies to improve operations while minimizing the cost of production without compromising the maximum quality of the product as well as maintaining a positive work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Run all production lines to meet productivity and quality objectives
- Supervise production employees and assist them with any questions or concerns
- Ensure correct weight and counts for the product that has been repacked
- Follow & enforce all operational procedures and recommend improvements.
- Review daily reports to plan out needs
- Monitor inventory levels and rotation
- Communicate all productions needs
- Assure all personnel report to work and have their assignments.
- Train new production employees on all relevant job duties
- Collaborate with other departments to determine priorities based on customer requirements
- Work with WH manager on opportunities for improvement
- Participates in audits of procedures, sustain company certificates
- Follow and enforce company policies and PPE requirements
- Conducts monthly safety and procedure training
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment following food and safety standards & regulations compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Manufacturing: 1-3 years (preferred)
- Shipping/ Receiving: 1-3 years (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
- Forklift/ Electric Pallet Jack operation (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
SCHEDULE:
- Day Time
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability (as needed)

- Ability to Commute: Sunrise, FL 33326 (Required)
