We are currently looking for a dynamic Export Sales Manager, who is passionate with international trade and has the reputation for being a star performer.

As an Export Sales Manager you will be an industry expert with a book of business to join our fast growing company.

This is a remote/home office position with a competitive base + commission package.

Compensation/Salary:

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Business Development- New and Current
  • Proactively create additional sales with new and existing customers
  • Complete and accurate records of all sales customers
  • Provide superior customer service to new and existing customers
  • Track and analyze customer sales history and purchasing trends
  • Identify and strategically pursue industry trends in fast-growing segments
  • Handling procurement from vendors                                                        
  • Prepare sales reports and correspondence in a timely and effective manner
Ideal Candidate: 

The ideal candidate is someone who is self-driven, highly motivated and eager to grow the business. One of the benefits is the job is a remote/home office position.  This is not your typical 9-5 job.  As an Export Sales Manager you are working with several continents and time zones.  Your commitment to the customer is imperative.

Terra Exports has an extremely competitive base plus commission sales structure.

Qualifications: 
  • Produce sales experience, minimum 1 year, 2-3 or more encouraged
  • Proven sales managerial success
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Highly motivated with an existing book of customers and/or suppliers
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work successfully from a home office and travel
  • Import/Export experience a plus
  • Bilingual encouraged but not required
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Possible travel on a need to need basis (mostly western region)
  • International travel on a case to case basis
