The successful candidate will provide a high level of sales, service, and product knowledge to our customers. They will also help expand our berry sales by identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts, as well as maximizing gross margins. They will work with our sales team in developing a successful sales and marketing plan and help oversee its implementation.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, goal driven, and truly passionate salesperson who enjoys working with produce and the entire sales process from start to finish. They will have the ability to analyze complex and changing market factors, evaluate alternative sales practices, and recommend or implement effective courses of action.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ industry experience (berries preferred)
  • Bi Lingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a confident, decisive manner
  • Self-starter with the passion and determination to work hard and meet or exceed goals
  • Should be an assertive problem solver who looks beyond the standard solutions to overcome challenges and is comfortable working with a variety of personalities and individuals
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Achieve budgeted sales volume objectives, market penetration, average sales price by product and ultimately, contribute to company profitability
  • Provide input as to relevant market information, strategies, visions and goals
  • Grow distribution and placement in both new and existing accounts
  • Develop and communicate strategies to grow market share and customer base
  • Manage budgets to ensure effectiveness and meet area targets
  • Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support
  • Identify and analyze local market dynamics and pursue new opportunities
