Job Filled Food Safety Account Manager

Job Description: 

SCS is looking for a dynamic professional to join our Global Food Safety Initiative Food Safety team.  As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts and initial operational functions.  Primary responsibilities of this position includes scoping projects, managing client relationships, and effectively tracking program revenue with strong attention to detail and professional communication skills, both internally and externally.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years’ experience in account management, customer service, project coordination, or similar experience
  • Experience using MS Office Suite, CRM and online business tools
  • Expert relationship building skills as well as knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior communication skills to communicate professionally with clients, Auditors, and staff
  • Team player
  • Entrepreneurial attitude ‘think outside the box’
  • Worked in food and agriculture industry preferred
  • Travel is required 20 to 25% of the time
Responsibilities & Duties: 

Account Management:

  • Leads client services coordination for Food Safety Services from initial step through final client deliverables
  • Processes all initial and renewal paperwork including, work orders, invoices and ensure timely response
  • Supports program in providing revenue reconciliations on a quarterly basis
  • Develops and maintain strong professional relationships with clients
  • Actively support program in process improvements and efficient client interface
  • Build relationship with clients and assist in resolving client issues and include Management Team as needed
  • Work closely with Sales, Certificate Associate and Auditors and schedule audits in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Certificate Associate to ensure the certification process has been completed and delivered to the clients in a timely manner
  • Respond to inquiries, referrals, and leads from current and prospective clients
  • Travel to meet clients on an as needed basis
