Supreme Cuts, the premier processor and distributor of high quality fresh pre-cut fruits and vegetables, has an exciting opportunity as the Manager of Fresh Cut Operations. The acceptable candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, fresh cut production environment to include production management/supervisory roles.
The Supreme Cuts Team draws from more than thirty years’ experience as a fresh pre-cut processor. We are known for its innovative techniques in providing supermarket chains and foodservice clients with an extensive list of quality products. This person will enjoy working in a dynamically changing environment.
The acceptable candidate will be an energized self-starter with a minimum of three to five years produce sales experience in retail and/or food service. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of generating new business with established business relationships. Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, fresh cut production environment to include production management/supervisory roles.
- Expertise in detailed planning, budgeting and reporting
Responsibilities & Duties:
This is a hands on position with responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Oversee and manage multiple-shift operations of the fresh cut processing/production department.
- Working closely with the Quality Assurance department to ensure adherence to all company standards food safety practices.
- Manage Production personnel, evaluate performance, employee training and work closely with Human Resources to manage staffing levels.
- Manage cost controls and production optimization
