Seeking an experienced and talented Sales Representative!

The Sales Representative will effectively establish and grow our business in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service.

The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze complex and changing market factors, evaluate alternative sales practices, and recommend or implement effective courses of action. They will be adept at exercising independent judgment and initiative and possess a proven ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key customers.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in produce sales and transportation
  • Experience with onions preferred
  • Experience using Famous Software is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Self-starter who has the passion and determination to work hard and meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative within general company guidelines
  • Possess a proven ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key customers
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple customers and deadlines
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Achieve budgeted sales volume objectives, market penetration, average sales price by product and ultimately, contribute to company profitability
  • Provide input as to relevant market information, strategies, visions, and goals
  • Grow distribution and placement in both new and existing accounts
  • Develop and communicate strategies to grow market share and customer base
  • Manage budgets to ensure effectiveness and meet area targets
  • Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support
  • Identify and analyze local market dynamics and pursue new opportunities
