Regional Sales Associate

Job Description: 

We are currently searching for a Regional Sales Associate to join our company.  This position is Home Office Based – near major airport preferred.

In the role as a Regional Sale Associate, you will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, generating new revenue opportunities that align with corporate initiatives, and managing iGPS’ existing customer base.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in sales or supply chain.
  • 2 years Sales and/or Supply Chain experience.
  • Meeting Sales Targets, Negotiation, Sales Planning, Problem Solving, Communication, and Building Relationships. 
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to travel extensively (and arrange travel) up to and including air travel and multiple nights away from home or office (including occasional weekends and holidays).
  • Self-starter required with the ability to complete task at hand regardless of length of time (if needed).
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Generates new business opportunities through existing and self-identified targets. 
  • Sells new accounts and negotiates commercial terms, pricing, contract changes and renewals for rental customers.
  • Delivers the assigned sales revenue and gross margin plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Forecasts sales volumes on a monthly and 90 day rolling basis.
  • Works with rental and receiving customers to expand the number of vendors shipping on iGPS pallets (Lane Closure).
  • Works closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction from implementation to ongoing account management.
  • Helps provide strategic recommendations and key advice on issues to Director of Sales to promote excellent customer relationships, while striving for maximum value at lowest cost.
  • Ensures relationship integrity and continuity, with and between, both external and internal customers.
  • Actively participates in the resolution of customer issues by coordinating with customer service. 
  • Conveys and coordinates major iGPS policies with our customers in a positive win-win approach.
  • Maintains customer relationship by participating in customer activities (i.e. charity outings, events) and periodically visiting the customer to provide value and discover new opportunities.
