Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service, prompt accurate information and the best value on premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables. Our current customer base extends from Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Illinois. We are growing and looking to expanding into other areas of the country as well.

We are searching for a highly motivated go-getter to join our team as a Produce Broker.

As a Produce Broker you will be responsible for contributing to the growth of our company through sales. You will provide superior service to our existing clients along with bringing over your own book of clients and acquiring new ones.

If you have produce sales experience and are thinking about becoming a produce broker we’re willing to pay the right candidate a competitive salary to start, as you make the transition to making your income from commission.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • New business development
  • Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
  • Seek to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
  • Develop and communicate strategies to grow market share and customer base
  • Handle procurement from growers
  • Identify and analyze local market dynamics to foresee and resolve issues and identify opportunities
Qualifications: 
  • Prior produce and brokerage experience in sales, 3-5 years highly desirable 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent, preferred
  • Strong business management experience and skills
  • Critical thinker with strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Comprehensive understanding of market conditions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
