Become part of our team as  Director of Sales and work in our corporate headquarters located in Valencia, CA.

As the Director of Sales you will report to the Vice-President of Operations. You will be responsible for planning and implementing the corporate sales and marketing plan. The plan needs to cover both short and long range sales, targeted toward existing and new markets.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an agriculture related capacity or the corrugated container industry. They will have a thorough knowledge of developing sales strategies and how to implement them effectively while utilizing their team. They will lead by example and help take our business to the next level.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience.
  • Five years of related experience with progressive management experience. 
  • Preferred candidates will have previous experience in an agriculture related capacity or the corrugated container industry.
  • Proven ability to develop sales strategy and manage sales staff.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to create and give presentations to customers, management and board.
  • Excellence in report preparation and data analysis work.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Develops and implements strategic sales and marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Manages Marketing Manager to ensure effective control of marketing programs to achieve marketing objectives to support sales programs.
  • Responsible for sales compensation design and administration, recruiting, selection, and management of sales force talent. Analyzes performance, and takes corrective action as needed.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals and budgets accordingly, establishing and monitoring sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Develops new strategies, tactics, and plans for future sales growth, designing and implementing specific field sales action plans.
  • Monitors and reports on competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Directs training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs, developing and implementing plans to assist salespeople in generating new customers and sales opportunities.
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams.
  • Builds peer support and strong intercompany relationships with other key management personnel.
  • Represents the company in various conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
