The North America office is based in Torrance, CA, with remote staff located in Reedley, CA, Wenatchee, WA and BC, Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced Export Account Manager for our Torrance, California office. We’re offering this opportunity for the right candidate to grow with us.
This individual will be responsible for engaging with growers and packers throughout the United States to carry out produce procurement as well as sales and marketing to Delica’s global customer base. This position will require traveling within United States as well as overseas.
- Maintain and build assigned category
- Proactively creating opportunities and create new sales and assist in building strong long-term relationships that will serve as the foundation for long-term business growth.
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales, prospects and new customers and accounts
- Perform daily pricing and sales negotiations with accounts to generate and maximize sales and margins
- Manage customer orders and logistics.
- Solve billing problems and coordinate with accounting to ensure prompt collection of account receivables. Ultimately responsible for the collection of all funds in a timely manner.
- Work with quality control to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support
- Prior produce procurement experience in category management preferred
- Work in team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and good follow-through skills
- Strong skills in organization, planning, and analyzing
- Must have excellent data entry skills, accuracy is critical, and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Spanish speaking a plus
