Ventura county company seeking team player to join their Berry Sales Team.
We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and detail-oriented professional for a Berry Salesperson opening to join our team in the Ventura, California office.
The Sales Account Manager is part of a team that will assist develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales, meet and exceed annual targets. This position works closely with customers to resolve customer issues or concerns. Coordinates marketing effort with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Minimum 3 years retail/food service
- Produce Sales Experience
- Established Customer Portfolio
- Prefer "Berry" Industry Portfolio
Interaction with customers:
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales orders obtained.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company production.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
- Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or product list.
- Sets up and displays product booth.
- Attends and promotes products at trade shows.
- Preparation and analysis of internal sales reports.
- Knowledge of contracts and contractual language.
Marketing:
- Keep customers advised of new products.
- Assists in development of company brochures and trade show booth.
- This role will require some travel
- Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret concrete variables
