Job Description: 

We are a Major grower/packer/shipper that specializes in greenhouse technologies. Our imported produce consistently receives high grading by the USDA for product quality and class.

We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our Sales Team in Northern New Jersey.

As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for expanding our business through current and future clients.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Establish and develop a customer base.
  • Solicitation of new accounts.
  • Seek to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets.  
  • Provide sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele.
  • Successfully promote a customer-focused work ethic in tune with the company’s core values and principles.
  • Maintain consistent working relationships in a rapidly changing, high pressure environment.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience selling fresh produce is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and marketing skills.
  • Sound knowledge of proven sales processes.
  • An understanding of produce market conditions.
  • A track record in increasing sales and finding new accounts.

Education: 

  • A college degree is preferred but not required.

Skills: 

  • Excellent communication skills -- written, verbal, interpersonal.
  • A positive, professional attitude with the ability to take initiative on processes outside of the defined job scope, including motivation to research and provide proactive solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.
  • Basic computer skills.
