Since 1905, Ratto Bros. has been owned and operated in the family tradition started by Antone L. Ratto. The son of Italian Immigrants, Antone grew his own vegetables on Bay Farm Island near Oakland and personally delivered his vegetables to his customers in a horse-drawn cart.
Now over 100 years later, we continue to grow fresh leafy green vegetables near Modesto, CA, farming in excess of 1,000 acres of productive farmland. Using progressive growing techniques and the latest cold chain technology, the company’s produce is among the safest and freshest on the market. What drives our continued success is our dedicated team of employees in all areas-from field workers and warehouse people, to truck drivers, support staff and management.
